“And my axe!” he shouted! Due to popular demand and for the first time ever in Antwerp, the second guest with a major role in of the best trilogies ever : John Rhys-Davies!
He has an impressive career and not only starred as one of the Fellowship in The Lord Of The Rings trilogy, but he also starred next to Harrison Ford as Sallah, Indiana Jones’ best friend in the amazing Indiana Jones movies.
He also starred in the cult series Sliders as Prof/Sheriff Maximilian Arturo. He will be a guest at Comic Con Antwerp 2022 and will be available for autographs and photoshoots on both days!

Our next guest has played in so many classics! Big roles in Star Wars, Harry Potter, Indiana Jones and even a main villain in a James Bond classic!
The younger Geeks will know him as Grand Maester Pycelle from all seasons of the legendary hit series Game Of Thrones. The Geek New Schoolers will know him as the voice of the giant spider Aragog from the Harry Potter movies. The Geek Veterans will know him as Walter Donovan from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and the real Geek Old Skoolers will know him as General Veers from Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. He didn’t choose badly this time and he’s coming to Comic Con Antwerp 2022!

BERNARD HILL
LORD OF THE RINGS – TITANIC
Onze volgende gast speelde een iconische rol als King Theoden in de Lord Of The Rings-serie. Bij de eerste introductie is Théoden zwak van leeftijd en verdriet en de machinaties van zijn topadviseur, Grima Wormtongue, en hij doet niets terwijl zijn koninkrijk afbrokkelt. Eenmaal opgewekt door Gandalf wordt hij echter een instrumentale bondgenoot in de oorlog tegen Saruman en Sauron. Hij speelt ook de rol van de kapitein in een van de grootste blockbusters van allemaal: Titanic van James Cameron.
En alsof dat nog niet genoeg was, speelde hij de rol van Philos naast Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in de klassieker: The Scorpion King. Of we nu denken aan de iconische toespraak van King Theodon in Lord Of the Rings of de echte heldhaftige rol van een kapitein die probeerde al zijn passagiers op zijn zinkend schip te redden maar stierf terwijl hij probeerde, iedereen kan het erover eens zijn dat deze ongelooflijke rollen geen toeschouwer onberoerd hebben gelaten. Het is echt een grote eer om de enige echte Bernard Hill te verwelkomen op Comic Con Antwerpen 2022!

MARK RYAN
ook bekend als BUMBLEBEE, MR. GATES
TRANSFORMERS – BLACK SAILS
Onze volgende gast op Comic Con Antwerp 2022 staat bekend om zijn vele rollen, zoals zijn werk aan de Transformers Franchise waar hij een van de beroemdste Autobots van allemaal zijn eigen typische identiteit bezorgde, namelijk de gele fan-favoriet Bumblebee! Maar hij speelde ook de Transformers: Jetfire, Lockdown, WWII Tank en de Lieutenant.
Alsof dat nog niet indrukwekkend genoeg was, kun je hem ook kennen als Mr. Gates in de Pirate Series Black Sails of Nasir in de tv-serie Robin of Sherwood.
Comic Book-fans zullen hem ook kennen als de auteur van The Pilgrim, dat hij samen met sterartiest Mike Grell heeft gemaakt.
Mark Ryan zal beide dagen aanwezig zijn op Comic Con Antwerpen voor een gezellige babbel, signeersessies en Q&A’s.

Stephen B. Scott has illustrated such titles as; Batman, X-Men Forever, JLA, Batman Confidential, Marvel Adventures Hulk, Indiana Jones and many more. In his more than twenty year career, the publishers have included, DC Comics, Marvel Comics, Image, Dark Horse, IDW, Titan Comics and most recently Storm King Comics where he illustrated John Carpenter presents Night Terrors with writer Steve Niles and is currently working within the Doctor Who universe at Cutaway Comics.
